Thai Massage Practice DaySunday, September 19th Thai Massage Practice DaySunday, October 3rd This one-day 8-hour NCBTMB Approved Provider workshop gives current Thai massage practitioners an opportunity fine tune their skills through supervised practice; gives former students of Thai massage an opportunity to refresh their knowledge; and gives Thai massage enthusiasts and would-be practitioners an introduction to this ancient healing art through hands-on, experiential learning. "Taste of Thai" Workshop This two-day 15-hour NCBTMB Approved Provider workshop gives current massage therapists, Thai massage enthusiasts and would-be Thai practitioners the essentials for practicing this ancient healing art through hands-on, experiential learning. Participating students will receive a solid foundation for understanding and applying the Thai principles that form the basis for this traditional form of manual therapy. Students will receive a more thorough introduction to the theoretical knowledge base and practical applications involved in giving a traditional Thai massage treatment. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your reservation with the remaining balance due at the start of the course. Students taking this course will learn how to use traditional Thai movements and techniques in order to give a more comprehensive and therapeutic Thai massage treatment. The deadline for paid balances and/or refundable cancellations is the start of the course. Deposits are non-refundable. After completing Level I and Level II, students who are interested in becoming practitioners of traditional Thai therapy are invited to contact Jon for a program application. Program admission is selective and limited to six students per year. Level III, Level IV, and Level V courses are offered when a cohort of six admitted students is formed. |
